Why do you do take down PivotalTracker for maintenance in the middle of the work week?
Why do you do take down PivotalTracker for maintenance in the middle of the work week?
Wednesday nights is a terrible time for system maintenance. In fact, my company meets Wednesday nights at 7:30 Pacific, and we're often not able to review our bugs and velocity because Pivotal is down.
Why not do system maintenance when there's little chance your users will be online - Friday nights or weekends?

Inappropriate?Hi, sorry for the inconvenience, but this is an unscheduled down time, and required to address an urgent issue. We anticipate it to be fairly short.

Inappropriate? Thanks Dan, but PivotalTracker seems to be down in the early evening at least every other Wednesday. I know this because my company has meetings every Wednesday at 7:30 Pacific in which one of the agenda items is to review our Pivotal stories, and we keep having to reschedule. It's happened on Wednesday nights at least four times in the last 3 months.
