Project invitation email link behaves incorrectly for users not currently logged in

I had a pivotal account, but was not logged in when I followed the link in the email sent to me when a co-worker added me to an existing project. The link took me to a page that asked me to set my password, but I already had setup my account. After logging in separately, the link in the email takes me directly to the project in tracker.
