Moving story out of current?
How do I move a story from current to backlog or icebox? We've mistakenly put a story in current and can't get it out.

Inappropriate? If you've started a story it automatically moves to the current pane. After all, if you're working on it, clearly it's higher priority than the other stories in the backlog. You can change the story back to Not Yet Started (expand the details and use the pull-down to change the story state) and then move it wherever you need.
If that's not the issue, it could be the somewhat confusing continuous nature of the current and backlog panes. They aren't really separate containers, just different views of one big container. If you don't have enough stories to fill up your current iteration, i.e. more points than your current velocity, then you won't be able to put anything into the backlog. The backlog is like overflow for stories that don't fit into the current iteration. -
Inappropriate?Ah, I see. Thanks for the very quick response. My partner had started the tasks that were unmoveable - combined with me not totally grocking the continuous nature of the boxes (which i now do). First time user kinks...

Inappropriate?why not allow us to "pause" a story that's already been started (or completed and waiting for acceptance) by moving it to the icebox? I realize it may not be kosher, but we have our own modified development pipeline process and if you don't like it, don't use it.
