Inappropriate? It would be great to be able to include a link to a test server in the email so that a client could simply click the link to visit the site to test the new story. Maybe even some instructions that the person marking the story as complete has added to direct the client as to what and how to test.

Inappropriate?I completely would specifically request the ticket owner's name to show up in the 'Delivered' email.
i.e. Change "The story you have requested, 'nnnnn', has been delivered." Include "...has been delivered by Marc."
I often forget who owns each specific ticket and it makes a difference if one developer has delivered 3 tickets or 3 developers have each delivered 1 ticket. The 1st case is often a trigger to check immediately whether that developer is free to start a new task. The later case is usually a less urgent trigger that I need to schedule some time to review closed tasks.
And pixelperfect is right about the mobile flow. I often get the email while out on my iPhone and want to email the developer a question about it. I definitely don't want to spend time following the link to Safari and trying to job my memory or adding a comment.
