Hi,
The possibility to log in with openid would be great. Are you planning to implement this feature?
Best regards

Hi Juanjo,
Thanks for sharing your idea. At this point we don't have any plans to add Login with openid, but if we get enough interest we would consider it in the future.

Arran Cudbard-Bell August 16, 2011 18:51Um yes, but then you have libraries like omniauth which just make it so easy... Or at you talking about the general use facing aspect of SSO?EditDeleteRemove

clickpass.com might be a useful way of doing openid support (they make it easy to just use existing google/yahoo/facebook/etc accounts as well as general openid)

The people to whom I recommend systems such as Pivotal Tracker expect easy integration.
Please, can you add support for OpenID?
Thanks

Support OpenID for sign in at www.pivotaltracker.com. -

You might take a look at JanRain's RPX (www.rpxnow.com). Its what is being used by GetSatisfaction for OpenID login. Also supports Facebook,Twitter, LinkedIn, Hotmail, Windows LiveID, and other identity providers.

+1 for JanRain's RPX - very easy to integrate from a webdev's PoV.

Just keeping this request alive... 26 people have marked it, so clearly it is something Pivotal Tracker users want.

They do have OpenID implemented, but only for Google Accounts.

OpenID is a decentralized authentication protocol that makes it easy for people to sign up and access web accounts”. Users use their existing online identity such as Gmail, Yahoo, Facebook etc to log in to websites.
LoginRadius(http://www.loginradius.com/developers...) uses OpenID and OAuth.-
I have searched that how to implement OpenID and then found loginradius.
It easy to add as well as service is superb.

It depends upon their underlying technology. For example, if they're using Ruby, there are several gems that are available. If Perl, some CPAN modules provide support.

I would add that it is essential to allow each account to have more than one OpenID associated with it. The OpenID servers on Google/Yahoo/etc have all gone down at various times (for very brief periods) and it makes logging in impossible if there is only one OpenID used.
