How to track stories I choose?
How can I create a panel to track the stories that are important to me if I'm not the requester or the owner?
ALSO, what's the checkbox in the upper right of each story? Mouse-over reveals nothing.

Inappropriate?Hi, sorry the checkboxes aren't very intuitive. They allow you to select multilple stories, and perform certain actions like delete and apply labels, using the Actions menu above.
To keep track of certain stories that you're interested in, you can apply a label to these stories, then use the Labels and Searches panel (in View menu) to easily get to the stories. You can also save a search, if the stories have some common words. -
Inappropriate? Thanks for the reply, but that's not going to work for me.
I can't go making up my own labels and slapping them on stories. If everyone working on my project did this, the "label" pull-down would be a mile long, and every Story would be cluttered with 20+ labels.
There's not another way, within your own view — through marking a story as a "favorite" in your dashboard or something like that — to keep track of stories that are important to you?
That seems like a pretty basic function. Shouldn't a user be able to customize their views in Pivotal? Put their stories in order of their own priority in "My Work"? Choose Stories to follow, just like one can add threads to a "favorites" list on many basic message boards or add bookmarks to their Yahoo or Google homepages?
I'm QA manager on a project, so there are many threads I need to keep an eye on, even though they're not assigned to me. If there's no built-in way to do this in Pivotal, do you have any work-around suggestions short of bookmarking the URL of every story and checking them manually every day?
I’m frustrated
