How can I set the start date of an iteration?
I can indirectly change the start date of an iteration by changing the starting day and the length but I can't seem to change it from Mon 2 Jun to Mon 9 Jun. Is there any way to correct an iteration start date?

Inappropriate? The start date of first iteration is either the current week or the week of the first accepted story, starting on the project's starting day of week. All other iterations start dates are calculated based on the first iteration start date and the length of iterations.
If you incorrectly accepted a story in the wrong iteration, you can open the story and adjust the "accepted on" field. If you change the accepted on date of the first accepted story it will adjust your project's iteration start dates appropriately.
Hope this helps,

Inappropriate? This is pretty annoying. I'm on two week iterations and of course the first doesn't start until next week. I think a way to set the start date of the first iteration would be nice.

Inappropriate?I am having problems with this too. i'd like to be able to set a specific start date and specific end date for the sprint. For me, apparently i started my first sprint in the middle of the week according to pivotal, so now sprints according to pivotal always end in the middle of the week whereas in reality they end on mondays. What can I do to fix this? Meaning I'm already on another sprint but can't flush things out of the current window because pivotal still thinks i'm in the current sprint when I'm not. Thank you!
I’m frustrated

Inappropriate? To change the start day of week go to the project settings page ("project settings" link under name) and change the "Start iterations on" to the appropriate day

Inappropriate? We started a project, completed two iterations, paused the project for ~10 days, resumed on a thursday, but would like to go back to mondays and two week iterations.
We have both "Monday" and "2 weeks" chosen, but the start dates are now one week "out of phase" with the schedule of the actual project.
I guess we need to retroactively "pause" the project for a one week period, and then resume the two week cycle after that.
Is this possible? -
Inappropriate?Matt: Can you add a story and say that it was accepted a week before the current beginning of the project? If I understand Mark correctly, that will shift the phase of the iterations back a week.

Inappropriate? That is such a ridiculous product hack...but did in fact have the effect of re-aligning the current iteration with what it should have been. Of course, the OLD iterations are now historically wrong...but we are theoretically aligned with the future now.
