Escaping markup characters in story tasks.

I noticed I couldn't use '*' in a story task because it's the start of the bold tag. Is there any way to delimit special characters like this? I've tried '\*'. If a bug, it's pretty minor as I don't often need to do this (one of my tasks happened to have an expression in it).

Perhaps as this questions suggests for descriptions you could support markdown etc. in story tasks too?
