Email notifications should indicate assignee

is this being worked on at all? i would think anytime the assignee is changed it would shoot you an email, but it doesn't seem to be doing that.

Agree with crayolalettuce. This really gums of the works of an otherwise excellent flow we've achieved with PT

Guys, please do something about it! Being informed about assigned tickets is one of the most important things I expect from an issuetracker. Please don't let me down!

The My Profile settings for email preferences are inconsistent. Options exist for each of:

• Receive comment emails
• 
  Receive 'New Story' emails
• 
  Receive 'Story Delivered and Accepted' emails
• 
  Receive 'Story Rejected' emails

But in some cases they're check boxes, while in other cases they let me filter for only my stories, all stories, no stories, etc. There should be options for each, perhaps:

• stories I'm assigned
• 
  stories I own
• 
  stories on which I've commented (Why yes, I did just sneak a feature request into the middle of another feature request.)
• 
  any of the above
• 
  all stories
• 
  no stories

You can have a designer weigh the pros and cons of making that an option list or a grid of check boxes.

We need this as well. Not all our team-members are working fulltime on the project. Especially those, who are not should receive emails when they're assigned a Userstory.
