Custom iteration lengths
Can there be specified iteration lengths, not just 1-4 weeks? I'm working freelance on a project and I have iterations of about 2 days (because there is only one of me). I'd like to get a velocity much quicker than every week.

Inappropriate?Hi, thanks for the suggestion. We don't support custom iteration lengths, but will add this to our list of feature requests.

Inappropriate?I just posted a similar idea and would love to see some shorter iteration lengths as well
I’m excited

Inappropriate? Please let us choose the iteration length in days. We have a standard 14 day iteration length (one day shy of a 3 calendar week).

Inappropriate?Hey I first wanted to say your tracker is great and love using it at work. The only thing I would like to see added with Pivotal right now is the ability to have shorter iterations. I work as a Flash developer and frequently have project timelines that move very quickly and the week long iterations make targetting release dates difficult and the velocity estimation becomes way off. Much of the time I only have 1 or 2 developers working on a project and we think it would be great to have 1-3 day iteration times. The majority of our projects never go over a 3 week period, so having faster iterations would help more accurately plan for meeting release dates and getting a better sense of velocity on shorter projects

Inappropriate?I know this might seem like insanity, but how about an iteration length of 1 day?
Why? Because that would allow me to model how much _I_ can do in one day and try out the tool for personal productivity. Who knows there might be another product in there for you.
Love the interface BTW.

Inappropriate? For some smaller projects, even the shortest iteration period - one week - can be a very long. I think that it will be a good idea to add shorter periods of iterations up to the resolution of single days.

Inappropriate? Is it possible to change the iteration length to less than 1 week? Our team has iteration meetings on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays, and we've found that this system works really well for us - we probably can't use a tool that doesn't have the flexibility to support these iteration lengths (Fogbugz does, funnily enough)

Inappropriate? Why not to add ability to show daily iterations instead of weekly? Because I am doing a lot of small tasks which I want to track daily.

Inappropriate?Yes, I would like to set the iteration length to 14 days.

Inappropriate?I think weeks are good for many environments, but days for others. So I think you need the ability to choose between. 1 week isn't always = 7 days, especially since you let us choose the day the week starts.
