Colored pinwheels driving me nuts.
Tracker is now so slow as to be almost unusable. Colored pinwheels on every single story move. The maximum story movement rate I can achieve is about 1 every 5-10 seconds. But I'm still using it because it's the best thing out there. If only it were as fast as it was last year.

Inappropriate?I think this experience would not have even been encountered if there was a "move to release" feature for selected stories

Inappropriate? If Tracker is slowing over time it may be that you have a lot of finished stories piling up, which can degrade performance. It could be good to archive your project and start a new one with copies of your current/backlog/icebox stories. I think you can do this by exporting a CSV, deleting the story numbers, deleting finished stories, and re-importing to a new project.
I’m hoping this helps.

Inappropriate? Thanks for the suggestion Jonathan, we didn't do this because it would be a very cumbersome task.
Instead we reduced the number of iterations displayed in the history and things seems to be faster so far.
I’m disappointed that tracker gets this slow, but it seems like we've found a workaround

Inappropriate? We deployed a few story moving performance fixes last night. Let us know if you see any improvements.
thanks,
