Choose/Change iteration start day whenever you want
We would need a feature to set the starting date of an iteration. We are using two weeks iterations and it is a pain to archive projects and create new ones only for having them start on the correct day. It would be helpful to change the start day of an iteration afterwards to be able to abort sprints and start on a different day. This is related to all questions about changing the sprint length or pausing/resuming a project.

Inappropriate?We have the very same problem. This also make it hard to get any usable statistics. With start/pausing and stoping an iteration at any time, pivotal tracker would be perfect and not just great ;).

For me it is not always possible to start a story (i.e. push the start button) on the day I really start it. So I would like to enter a start date in the past. -
Inappropriate?We sometimes start the next sprint a day or two after the last sprint. Not being able to easily change the start date of the next sprint forces us into a cadence that isn't easy to change.
