Cannot edit a task to have question mark in text

Cannot edit a task to have question mark in text. When hit Save next to task, get an error that save was not fully completed. Save works fine without question mark.

Exact error is: "Invalid operation. You may not have enough access to do this. Some of your changes have been rolled back."

Note that this does not happen when the task is originally created.
