"Project Points Breakdown Report" would be a lot more useful if the order of the stages are in the reverse order.
This blog post should be good too: http://agileworks.blogspot.com/2009/0...
The image above is what is generated by pivotal tracker. I did a mock-up if it was done the other way, with the stories unstarted on top, them started, finished, etc. In this way, the story works its way done.
The nice thing about this view is that your project progress and scope changes can be shown in the same chart without affecting each other.

Inappropriate?Hey Shane...thanks for the suggestion. I do see the advantage, but would like a bit more feedback, as more people begin using this chart. Perhaps it could be an option (reverse stack or something)?

Hi Dan. Option is absolutely fine. Although I am a bit curious of the usefulness of the current chart. I guess it is useful at the end of the project, when you really want to see the burn-down. I saw another suggestion here (http://getsatisfaction.com/pivotal/to...) about extending the bar downward. I think I saw that on Mike Cohn's book "Agile Estimation and Planning". It looks pretty good too. -
Inappropriate?I'm the one who posted the idea about extending the bar downward, and wanted to mention that this idea would solve my problem too.
