A comment on the problem "Unable To Add Items" in Wishpot:

@vmburkhardt we've noticed some problems with Firefox that are difficult to reproduce, and only happen to some people. When you get the error does it say "The server has experienced an error" or does it say "The request is not valid"?

If the later ("request is not valid"), this is an issue which I think is related to a state firefox can get into with regard to cookies. It would be great if you could clear you cookies and give it another shot. Thanks, and sorry for the trouble! – Tom Lianza, on February 02, 2010 23:57

Sorry for the troubles. There is an issue we're actively working on regarding an error that happens after you hit "save" (see: http://getsatisfaction.com/wishpot/to... ) but what you're describing is a bit different. Does it happen on every website, or just specific ones?

This weekend we had a number of issues that were resulting in error messages when trying to add new items through the browser button. The issues aren't 100% resolved yet, but things should be substantially better right now. Please give it another shot and let me know if this issue persists.

Great Question! The new Chrome plugin system looks very cool and this is definitely something we're looking into. Yes - we're planning on releasing one. I'll update this thread when we have a more definitive timeline, but we're big Google Chrome fans at Wishpot.

A comment on the idea "ted: Torrent Episode Downloader support" in boxee:

I think Ted and Boxee side-by-side could be incredibly useful, but the trick is that people are using Boxee on a machine that (ideally) they don't have a keyboard/mouse hooked up to. Personally, if I could use a web UI for it, that would be fine (that is, it wouldn't need to be super-tightly-integrated with boxee for scheduling) but, when the shows are recorded, it would be great if they show up well in boxee (with the right metadata, etc).
