jgentes reported a problem in LastPass on January 25, 2010 15:44:
Autofill won't stop auto-filling zendesk user pages!I use Lastpass for Chrome, which usually works wonderfully, but recently I've started seeing a chaotic use of auto-fill that is causing a bit of trouble.
Specifically, we use Zendesk at our company to manage our support tickets, and when I go in as an admin and click on a user's name (any user) it does something crazy - it autofills the password value, and submits the page, which changes the user's password! It will do this on any user page, and I have turned off autologin and checked 'never autofill', and I can't seem to get it to stop.
As a result, not only did I have to completely remove the credentials for support.mydomain.com, but the 'site' didn't seem to help - it kept doing it, since I had other subdomain.mydomain.com URL credentials in Lastpass. So my only solution was to remove auto-login and turn on 'never autofill' for the entire domain, which means all of the internal apps at *.mydomain.com don't get to use the nifty auto-login process that makes lastpass so great.
I am seeing this in a couple of places, but with Zendesk it was a big problem (since the password field is a 'change password' field). and I was able to reproduce the behavior easily.
Any thoughts? I'm bummed!
Thanks,
-James

A comment on the idea "Add a next button, for goodness sake" in SlideDeck:
ah, I didn't realize the platform had that flexibility. Thanks for letting me know - I'll keep this in mind, since I did like everything else about it. And so I guess my comment is more accurate in saying that particular slidedeck should have a next button.
Thanks!

Add a next button, for goodness sakeRecommendation: Need a 'next' button! The workflow in the basecamp example is painful. In Windows, they took years to figure out that people simply want to click 'next, next, next, finish', rather than having to move the mouse right, then left, then down, then down, then right, then left, then down, GOD!
I wouldn't consider using the product until it had a simple 'next' button in the upper right or somewhere that users could click to step through the slide deck. Seems obvious, but here's the feedback, so I encourage you to use it!
