DrewMc replied on March 08, 2010 23:17 to the idea "Allow uploads when creating stories" in Pivotal Labs:
I wish I could attach files without having to save the story first. I am sitting here with a bunch of visual design mockups, and I have to:
- Add story, write title and description
- Save Story
- Re-expand the saved story
- Attach file and upload
- Lather, rinse, repeat
I wish I could eliminate the intermediate save and re-expand.

We're thinking of temporarily adding an additional pair of developers to take some risk out of meeting a deadline. To do some "What If" analysis, I increase the Team Strength of a few iterations to 150% (to reflect 3 pairs instead of 2). The backlog adjusts, but the burndown chart does not. The charts appears to refresh, but the new Team Strength is not taken into account.

DrewMc shared an idea in Pivotal Labs on March 01, 2010 20:04:
I'd like to be able to attach one file to multiple stories.I get visual design mockups from the designer. I write lots of stories based on them. I either end up attaching a comp to many stories (repetitive and runs up your S3 bill), or end up saying see comp on (kind of a pain).
Then a week later, I get a revised comp from the designer, which I either have to replace everywhere (a pain) or risk a version control problem with different mockups on different stories.
It would be great to have an attachment pane where I could have the files, see which stories they are attached to, and maybe even a version history.-
