Chris - in the JIRA integration settings, you need to specify the numeric ID of the filter, not the filter name (eg. 123456). To see a filter's ID, hover over the filter link (on your JIRA dashboard), you should see the filter ID in the URL at the bottom of your browser. – danp, on March 05, 2010 01:07

We're still hoping to fix this issue soon, and make it possible to add file attachments before saving a story (when creating it). Just to clarify, though, you can add attachments as soon as the new story gets created (after you hit save). It just takes an extra click to re-open it.
